From the moment I picked up my first Canon, I felt intrigued by the amazing technology that seemed to so flawlessly capture a timeless moment. Since becoming a photographer I find myself looking at life differently. I now find the beauty in such small fleeting moments. The way the sun shines through the trees, the genuine joy of a child interacting with their parents, or the pure emotion of a groom as his bride walks towards him on the day of their wedding. I get to capture and focus in on that every day, and for that, I am truly grateful.
I’ve been a photographer for nine years now and I’ve explored almost every sub-genre of this profession. My absolute favorite moment to capture is love. Preserving life’s most precious moments. I view my career not as a documenter, but more as a keeper of time. Totally cheesy, I know.
I am a native to Las Vegas and I loved everything the city had to offer. So many versatile backdrops that really made my everyday work fun! I started my business there and it allowed me to meet people from all over the world. I will always be thankful for that.
My family had an opportunity to move to Mississippi in 2022 and we couldn’t say no. We absolutely love it here in the Midsouth! It has been a transition for us, as we both were born and raised in Vegas, but the hospitality here is amazing. I cannot believe how green it is here, and HUMID! I won’t even get started on all the dang bugs! I am excited to buy some land and have a garden and animals! I have always wanted a pygmy goat and some chickens. Who knows what farm animals I will get!
I am a mother to two children, Rose and Brett. I love spending time with my family. On a weekend I am not working you can find me reading a good book, gardening, or playing video games with my family. It all comes together with a nice cup of iced tea! I swear I was made for the south. We have a dog: Leia, a German Shepherd.
I love to create moments that evoke emotion, awe, and even inspiration. Sometimes that means capturing that raw candid connection, or sometimes it means prompting you with a silly question to draw out those natural giggles. I am very laid back during my sessions and am often told that I am very friendly. Quite a few jittery brides have thanked me for being so calm and fun on their wedding day. I will always be there to help in any way that I can. Like in Toy Story, “You’ve Got a Friend in Me”.

Hi there!
I’m so excited to join Southern Moments Photo! Since moving to Memphis from Salt Lake City a little over a year ago, I’ve been blown away by the warmth and friendliness of the South. I've been married for almost a decade (crazy!) and I have the cutest little five year old you've ever seen. I’ve been passionate about photography since 2016, and it’s such a joy to capture those special moments that make life truly meaningful. I absolutely love photographing weddings and seeing the magic of new beginnings.
